How It Works
Search
Find receiving counters near you and compare carriers, hours, size limits, and reviews.
Reserve
Reserve an address — one per package. Your name gets a unique AH code that ties the package to you.
Ship
Use that exact name and address at any store’s checkout. The host matches the code on arrival.
Pick up
You get an email the moment it arrives. Show your name + code at the counter — the host matches it to the package and hands it over.
Why AddHawk
Home address privacy
Stop handing your home address to every store, seller, and shipping database on the internet.
Reduced package theft
Packages wait behind a staffed counter instead of sitting on your porch in plain sight.
Fewer missed deliveries
Someone is always there to sign and receive — no more missed-delivery slips or redelivery roulette.
Better for travelers
Ship ahead to where you’re going, or keep receiving at home while you’re away. Pick up when you arrive.
Greater delivery flexibility
Collect on your schedule during the host’s hours — evenings, weekends, whenever suits you.
Secure chain of custody
Every package is matched by its code at arrival and released only when your name + code match the label, with records kept.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is AddHawk?
AddHawk is a marketplace and directory that connects people who need somewhere to receive packages with independent local businesses ("hosts") that accept packages on their behalf — mailbox stores, shipping centers, and other staffed locations. You search the map, ship to a host’s address, and pick up on your schedule.
How does AddHawk work?
Four steps: (1) search for a receiving location near you, (2) reserve a receiving address there — one per package — which adds a unique AddHawk code to your name (e.g. “Robert Pryer AH3476”), (3) use that exact name and address at checkout when you shop online, and (4) once the host matches the arriving package by its code, you get an email that it’s ready — show your name + code at the counter to collect. No PIN, no ID, nothing to look up. Each listing shows accepted carriers, hours, pricing, and size limits.
What is the AH code in my shipping address?
Every reservation gets a unique code like AH3476 that goes in the name line of your shipping address (“Robert Pryer AH3476”). It marks the package as an AddHawk delivery and lets the host instantly match it to your reservation when it arrives, so your package can never be confused with someone else’s. One code covers one package; reserve again for the next one.
How do I collect my package?
Show your name + AH code at the counter — the same code that’s printed on the package label (also on your My Packages page and in the arrival email). The host matches what you show to the label on the box and hands it over. There’s no separate PIN and nothing for the host to look up; the code that verifies the package is right there on the package. No ID required.
How much does AddHawk cost?
Searching and browsing is free, and there is no membership or subscription. Hosts set their own prices per package or per month, and AddHawk adds one transparent platform fee per transaction, always shown before you confirm payment.
Turn your counter into revenue.
Mailbox stores, shipping centers, pharmacies, cafés — any staffed business with secure storage can receive packages and earn on every one.
